Well anyway, enough with the giddy screaming. Let's see, I went to my first write-in today, at Panera Bread. I'm still there now. There are two other people here, both trucking away on their novels. It's a really great environment for writing.
After church and before the write-in today, I went and got myself a bunch of noveling supplies. I got chocolate and candy canes for fuel, and a bunch of glowstick bracelets and candles for writing marathons next weekend. I think I might try to marathon myself to the finish line. Anyway, this was inspired by a very interesting thread on the NaNo forums about "glowsticking your way to success." The idea is to break a glowstick and not stop writing until it dims or goes out. I got fairly cheap ones, because I don't fancy trying to write for 24 or 48 hours straight. XP People also suggested using small candles, so that's why I got those. I like both ideas, and I will try to do them both before the end of the month!
Well anyway, just wanted to update with the amazing news! Hope everyone's having as great a day as I am!
